The death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO., on August 9th, 2014,maybe the tipping point for race-police relations in our nation. Malcolm Gladwell argues in his bestselling book, Tipping Pointthat at some point a seemingly small event can happen, thatcan cause a movement to take offlike a wildfire. Will the killing of Michael Brown,18 year old college-bound student and African American,be that event or will it go the way of many killings when it has involved an unarmed black teenshotby whitepolice officer? Since his death, more unarmed black teenagers have died by policeactions.
