Abstract
human service programs in different locations around the country. Funded by the Casey Strategic Consulting Group, the project is designed to document lessons learned, analyze critical success factors, and describe the operational processes and tools, including information technologies, that have contributed to these efforts. In February 2002 Rockefeller Institute staff conducted a site visit to human service offices in Macon, Georgia, the county seat of Bibb County. Locations visited included the main office of the Bibb County Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) and a number of buildings in close proximity that house collaborative projects developed by DFCS and other community agencies. These collaborative projects, described in detail below, were the focus of the site visit.
