Selected Resources for Teaching and Learning

 

These resources are made available to assist instructors of courses in the use of cases and simulations for advancing specific class topics or course subject areas. These guides offer both in class and out of class methods for applying cases to learning and offer individual and group based approaches.

Case Studies-Urban Land Institute

ULI Case Studies showcase innovative approaches and best practices in real estate and urban development. Each case study provides detailed information about the ideas, plans, performance, and lessons learned for an exemplary and often award-winning development project. Each also includes project facts, timelines, financial data, site plans, and photos.

A catalog of published collections of cases focused on specific topics in the public and nonprofit sector.

Government Accountability Office
The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) is an independent, nonpartisan agency that works for Congress. Case studies are published on the website as reports of federal government's work.

Center for Accountability and Performance, ASPA
The Center for Accountability and Performance established by Amercian Society for Public Administration (ASPA) calls for case studies proposal every year and give awards to outstanding ones. A database is provided on the website.

As a leading institution in public affairs and policy, Harvard Kennedy School provides researchers and students high quality case studies through its case program.

The U.S. Office of Personnel and Management publishes case studies about personnel management in federal government as valuable resources for researchers.
